Fortnite Crosshair Settings for PC & Mobile
Fortnite uses weapon-driven reticles. Player settings can show or hide the reticle, ammo information, and damage feedback, but there is no native profile code or player-defined crosshair shape and color to import.

Use Fortnite's Game UI settings for reticle visibility and feedback. On touch devices, use the HUD Layout Tool to keep fire, aim, and build controls away from the center. Crosshair Games does not inject an overlay into Fortnite.

The paths below use native settings only. No login, download, overlay, or game-file modification is required.
Set the Fortnite reticle on PC
These steps apply to keyboard and mouse, and the same Game UI path is available when using a controller on PC.

Launch Fortnite, open the menu in the upper-left corner, and select Settings.

Select Settings in the left column, then open the Game UI tab.

Under Reticle & Damage Feedback, turn Reticle on. Set the ammo indicator and damage feedback to your preference.

Return to a safe match or training area and test several weapon classes; Fortnite changes the reticle with the equipped weapon.

If you use a controller, open Controller Options, enable Advanced Options, and verify Aim Assist Strength. Aim assist is disabled while gyro aiming is active.
Important
There is no Fortnite crosshair profile string to paste. A screenshot or web preview cannot replace the weapon-specific in-game reticle.
Set the Fortnite reticle on mobile
Mobile uses the same Game UI visibility controls plus a touch HUD editor for keeping buttons away from the aiming area.

Open the in-game menu, choose Settings, select the gear, then open Game UI and scroll to the HUD section.

Make sure Reticle is enabled and choose the HUD and damage-feedback elements you want visible.

Open the HUD Layout Tool. Move or resize fire, aim, build, and interaction buttons so they do not cover the screen center.

Choose the firing mode that matches your control style: Auto Fire, Tap Anywhere, or Dedicated Button.

If you use a Bluetooth controller, review Aim Assist Strength under Controller Options. If gyro is active, aim assist is disabled.
Important
The HUD Layout Tool changes touch controls, not the weapon reticle geometry. Reticle appearance still depends on the current weapon.

Avoid the common Fortnite crosshair mistakes
Treat the reticle, touch controls, and aim-assist settings as separate systems.
Do not look for an import box
Fortnite does not provide a CS2- or VALORANT-style crosshair profile field.
Test more than one weapon
Shotguns, rifles, scoped weapons, and special items can present different reticle behavior.
Protect the center on mobile
Move touch buttons away from the center before making them larger. A clear aiming area matters more than a symmetrical HUD.
Separate gyro from aim assist
Gyro aiming and aim assist do not operate together; choose the input method you intend to practice.

Can I import a custom crosshair code into Fortnite?
No. Fortnite's documented player settings do not include a native crosshair profile-code import.
Can I change the Fortnite crosshair color or shape?
The standard player settings control reticle and feedback visibility, not a custom color-and-shape editor. The active weapon determines the reticle.
