WHAT THE RESULT PRESERVES

Match physical distance, not the slider number

CS2 and VALORANT use different yaw values. The converter preserves the mouse distance required for a full 360° turn, even when the source and target DPI differ.

Formula used

Target sensitivity = source sensitivity × source DPI × source yaw ÷ target DPI ÷ target yaw. CS2 uses 0.022 and VALORANT uses 0.07 degrees per mouse count.

Why both eDPI values can differ

eDPI is DPI × in-game sensitivity. It is useful for comparing players inside one game, but it is not a cross-game physical unit. Use cm/360° when moving between games.

Verify once in the practice range

The calculation matches hip-fire rotation distance. Field of view, weapon zoom, aspect ratio, and animation can still change perceived speed, so test one full swipe before committing.
